Students study in a range of research and higher degree programs at the Cradle Coast Campus. These include PhDs in Agricultural Science through the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, and other higher degrees in education, history, sociology, information systems, zoology, computing, regional development and psychology.
There are generous scholarships for students entering Post Graduate Research, including the Elite Scholarships program that provides $30,000 per year plus relocation expenses and a laptop computer.
A Cradle Coast campus Graduate Research Student Induction Kit helps students settle into Campus life.
The Cradle Coast Campus is the base for a number of postgraduate supervisors, and students with supervisors at other study centres can base themselves at the Cradle Coast Campus.
