Burnie-based artist Meg Collidge is a painter with a passion for the cradle coast countryside:
“…my surroundings are dominated by the beauty of rolling red hills dressed in lush greens dancing up to the jagged coast.”
Meg’s enthusiasm for her subject matter is evident in the vibrant colours and rhythmic patterns she uses to create mesmerising landscape paintings which vibrate with energy. Over the past 12 months or so Meg has been working in her studio to create a series of fabulous paintings which play with the forms and colours of the region. Her exhibition “Local Landscapes” is the culmination of this work.
