UTAS at the Makers' Plans

UTAS has today lodged a development application with the Burnie City Council detailing its plans for an educational precinct at West Park.

The plans include construction of a forty bed accommodation unit, a new computer lab, a mezzanine floor in the Makers' Workshop and refurbishing the currently unoccupied Domestic Arts building. 

Diagrams and pictures of the proposed development are now on display at the Makers' Workshop and the UTAS Cradle Coast Campus.

The display at the Cradle Coast Campus will be manned from 10 am until noon this Sunday August 25, during UTAS Open Day; the display at the Makers' Workshop will be manned from 10am until 4pm from Monday the 26th of August until Wednesday the 28th of August.
