Welcome to the Cradle Coast campus
The Cradle Coast campus Mooreville Road site has partially reopened following an easing of restrictions imposed by the State Government for North-West Tasmania. It is important to note that delivery of our learning and teaching programs remains online. If you can continue your course from home, please do so. A temporary Learning Hub has been established in Building A with computer workstations and a printer for any students who need these facilities to further their studies. Physical distancing measures are in place, and the space is swipe-card entry only. All existing student swipe cards have been automatically re-programmed to ensure 24/7 access. Please note, Building B and Building D remain closed.
Located on the iconic coast of North-West Tasmania, we offer flexible, lifelong-learning options. Our regional campus in Burnie is here to guide you during your higher education journey and future career pursuits.
Forming part of the Cradle Coast campus is the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA), University College and Rural Clinical School (RCS). There is also academic representation from the College of Arts, Law and Education, College of Health and Medicine and the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics.
Throughout the academic year we proudly host and facilitate a number of community engagement and cultural programs which invite people of all ages to experience where university can take them.
